Goats are sold out- BUT we have a friend that lives close to us that has a lot of our lines and some of our goats so we can have her contact you if you email us with name, location, what you are looking for and phone number/text number and I'll get that to her.   I do have goat equipment for sale.  email to see what I still have firmdw@gmail.com   BLESSINGS :)  (PS,  we have kept some retired and some wethers for pets- we're just out of the breeding and milking part of goats).

  TEMPERMENT & QUALITY MATTERS!

Breeding Goals at Fir Meadow-  We are always striving to not just create 'another' goat,  we focus to try to continue to improve the breed as a whole!  Most of our mature animals reach the LA 91 to 92 EEEE stage, including many many many of our bucks, assuming good care.

We have heard of several of these over the years from coast to coast.  and several finished goats and some bis on those.  2020 in Tennesee our dry yearling (owned there) doeling earned GCH and RGCH.  2020 breedleader Fir Meadow Elegance (owned by Kristi M in NW WA) at #9 for milk and # 1 for fat and protein-   WE STILL PRODUCE QUALITY!

Milk Machine #2 is an old workhorse cast iron machine that used to be on  a cow dairy in Montana, that we wired into our barn in Central WA and in Oregon and then piped the air with pvc pipe into the milkroom and attached the valves to that.   Husband had also wired a regular on/off light switch to it so I could just flip it on from in the milkroom.   I used it to milk 20 to 35 goats year after year twice a day and would hook up three at a time to it (it could probably milk 4 goats at a time).  We used it about 15 years in a row and we had it cleaned and rebuilt about ten years ago at which time we were told it would probably go another 50 years before needing that again.  I haven't used it since 2016,  but husband tested it and it runs good.    $650 for this machine.

$45 stainless steel milk bucket I want to say 6 quart.  Strong stainless, not the wimpy stuff you get today.  I used this primary to weigh milk for milk tests but you can use it as a daily bucket.

Goat coats.  I have lots in many sizes.  Holler and I'll dig them out sooner and give a price.
SS heavy guage nice milk strainer- fit in a milk bucket OR over a canning jar.
Hay bags for showing- blue with a green border, made out of marine fabric- custom made for us.  Can be used for any small livestock to medium sized livestock.  Great for shows but can be used at home as well.

Contact us as we dig out miscellaneous things.
We are sold out of milk stands and our portable milk machine has sold.  thank you!

We have owned & produced several breedleaders and continue to stack our deck with high performing over 3000# genetics that also appraise well. We have had one doe milk over 4000# 2 years in a row (she had 7 lactations in a row over 3000#) as well as an SGCH.  She also is behind most of the goats in our herd.   Our goats also have very high LaMancha rolling averages for butterfat- usually over 4% and up at the 5% with some individual milkings showing over 5%.  This equates to yummy tasting high yields on your milk and product production and because of this our bucks are popular with dairies.  We are humbled & blessed that they choose our genetics in which to make a living on

Yearlling appraisal score: 87 VEVV  VERY SOUND YEARLING SCORE!!!

This tall, long fancy dairy character doe with strong yet flat bone is needing a new home since her goat mom (me) is selling out of goats (other than our retired ladies) to refocus on our Fjord horses.    She has a great, friendly, sweet personality and beautiful breed character as well.  In 2020 she presented us with three doelings and every one of them has really fancy conformation.

Milk:  we dried everyone up early 2019 (husband was tired of milking and physically I couldn't do it yet from an accident)
2020:  2-02 67 734 3.41 3.0      peak 12.6   ME   3430 115 102

SOLD  SG Fir Meadow JPR Krystelle   lovely black and tan pinto doe

S- *B Fir Meadow HNK Juniper
D- SG Fir Meadow ALP Christa 8*M  milked over 12# peak as a yearling!
LA 91EEEE under two appraisers (dam Yodel LA 91EEEE SGCH 2990 milk)

This does just keeps on looking better and better and better.  Too bad we can't get her appraised this year at two,  certainly her score would be higher and I cautiously think higher than just one point higher (not just 89)...

Krissy produced beautiful doeling (Madeleine (Madeleen-eh)- Maddi) $650 and Markus (Mar-koos) NFS until sold out then will be $600 for 2020 by Karamel who is now in Wisconsin.

LA 88 VEVE yearling score   milk  too fresh for June test,  coming soon.   really high yearling score and milk off the charts!
38 days fresh milking 11.0#  taking after her dam! 7/17/19 milk test

Another lovely doe that goes generations deep for doing excellent in the show ring SGCH Yodel, SGCH Tickle, SGCH RCB Schemer, SGCH RCB Prankster (LA93).  SOLID for type.   milk from both her sire and dam lines.

**************************************************************************************************************
SOLD  SG Fir Meadow JPR Katharina  We absolutely LOVE this black and tan pinto doe!  $550   2018 milker
S- *B Fir Meadow HNK Juniper
D- SG Fir Meadow ALP Christa 8*M LA 91EEEE milking 12+# as a yearling!,  her dam also LA 91EEEE FS and SGCH, 2990milk

yearling score LA 87 VVVV  really high yearling score!
first test 3.4- single kid on her not letting down for test..., second test 7/17/19   8.1#  She is somewhat uneven as her single kid is only milking one side, so we have to milk the other which is gaining capacity a bit faster than the other one.
2020: 2-01 104 1016 3.25 3.05  ME 3111 102 95   QUITE NICE!  Peak is 10.6 and following test is 10.2 - VERY GOOD HOLD/CONSISTENCY!!!

Solid foundation and a lot of milk up both sides of her pedigree.  I expect her to produce well on test days once we have her kid off of her and she's on a regular milk schedule.  Currently she's only milked once a day by us.   Her rump currently is a bit steep,  but she has plenty of leg angle to support it as she levels her rump as she matures from weight in her milky udder and as she carries more kids.   She ought to end up about perfect :).  The last photo shows her right after morning milking.

**************************************************************************************************************

SOLD   Fir Meadow HNK Klassique  This is a nice little milking doe in a black and tan wrapper   $600

s- *B Fir Meadow EXL Henrik LA 90, LA 89
d- Fir Meadow DNL Hosanna 5*M LA 91EEEE strong milker, LA 91/92 for generations up the dam line and paternal damline

yearling LA 84 +++V
milk 5.7, 4.9, 6.7 on 7/17/19    kids being raised on her this year, not letting down well for test.  Her kids are growing well- large!  She has to be milking well for them to be getting that big!  Photos coming of  her palomino colored very fancy kids!!!

In 2020 she has freshened quite lovely with a milky, shapely and nicely collapsable udder.  She produced two buck kids by Lukas  that would make amazing pack wethers or would be great for a fancy homestead dairy at non show pricing.  $250 each, unregistered.    If we had appraisal this year I would be thinking she would be scoring V's all the way across and maybe hinting towards an E in mammary, as she has grown a lot in the past year and is beyond her awkward stage that she was in at appraisal.  Her mammary has only improved as well.

Klassi will continue to improve as she matures.  I would expect her to get into at least the VVVE range- I can't guarantee that I'm not an appraiser nor judge nor can I control genetics or her care once she leaves here,  but after 20 years of having my herd appraised annually (18x) and working with my lines that's what I'd expect.   Shes a nice milker that can produce fancier than herself- her gorgeous palomino buckling and doeling from 2019 easily proved that!  They sold fast!

ALL SOLD   2017 and older:  bucks & does for sale  please contact for most current information as site is not always up to date.

SOLD   Fir Meadow EXL Henrik  buck  LA 90VEE at two,  LA 89VVE at 3,  LA 86VVV yearling score   $900  takes this fancy buck home!   DNA  2016 buck,     4 years old in 2020.

MILK MILK MILK-  HE even milks and has an udder for each teat- but we don't milk him.   The milkiest buck we have ever owned so I expect him to pass that on in abundance!!!

s- *B Fir Meadow Cori Exclusive
d- SG Fir Meadow DNL Fiona 2*M

This buck by far is the most long boned yet solid boned flat boned buck we have ever had with the best breed character while exhibiting all of that length- AND SHORT TIGHT STRONG pasterns!   He is also the MOST MILKIEST buck we have ever owned.  While it's common for us to own bucks that produce milk (we don't milk them) he actually has really filled his teats and added an udder to the top of each teat.  His breeding SCREAMS MILK MILK MILK!    He is the whole package along with a really fun pet temperament.  Scratch his back and watch him bounce around very silly like a kid and then come back for more scratchin's.   I hate to sell this buck,  he really is my big sweet buddy.   But he needs to be producing quality lamanchas to benefit the breed as a whole.  However,  if he doesn't sell I will consider castrating him and keeping him for my buddy.

This massive yet gentle loud colored pinto buck is in another growth stage this year.  He's been siring nice kids here for us with limited use because he is related to quite a bit of our herd.    I expect him to be an asset to most any breeding program.  This buck would turn heads in the showring too if one chose to show him.
*A non refundable deposit of $100 per kid will hold your choice on PREBORN kids. Kids and goats that are already born require a down payment of 100% which is nonrefundable. Selections are made on a first come first serve basis in order of deposit receipt.  Choices must be submitted with your deposit unless you are not selecting specific breedings.  Please give us a first and second choice to work with if possible on each selection.  We will refund the deposit ONLY if your choices are not born or are not of our quality standards.  If your choice is not born you will have the option to move your deposit to any available kid or to be refunded.  Payment in full will be due within two weeks of birth, or your deposit will be forfeited and your kid(s) will be available for sale to others.   Any deposit send implies that you agree with these terms.  For kids already born payment in full is expected to purchase them. We will hold them up to 5 weeks of age or for up to two weeks (whichever is later) without charging board.

You can prearrange to pickup your kids from the farm by appointment and we encourage that so that you can see firsthand how they are raised, their relatives, etc. All Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer including any transportation, Kennels or CVI's (Health Certificates).   All pricing is on the farm.   We can arrange to deliver your kid(s) to SeaTac International airport for an additional fee as it is a minimum 6 hour round trip for us.  No kids or goats will be tendered for transportation or pickup until they are paid for in full and payments have cleared our bank.  We can arrange for credit and debit card purchases via our website- we just have to set up the sale on there.   This will give you and us an invoice for recordkeeping.

Opal M.     dob 04/25/2004  KFPS / FHANA registered 840004200404482  Inbreeding Coefficient 4.3%
Sire  Anne 340 x dam Anika M.

Breeding plans in the research phase for a 2021 breeding to produce a 2022 foal.  Looking into AI possiblities with a KFPS approved stud.  Filly will be retained, colt will be for sale.     will plan to start saddle work with her this winter as she has not been ridden since about 2015.  Her Temperment is BEYOND AMAZING and I"ve bridled and saddled her without any issue or hint of issue at all.
Opal Is Registered KFPS/FHANA with full papers.  Opal has had 2 lovely foals, the latest turning 2 in June 2021, and a colt 'Opie' a few years ago (she was live covered), Pearl (filly) in June 2019 (A.I.). Had good pregnancies and birthed on her own. She is a wonderful Mom to her babies (had to take the last one off her at 10 months, or she'd probably still be nursing). Regular cycles. Opal is a pretty mover (smooth for purebred Friesian). Could make a darling dressage horse, driving horse, trail horse (or?) with someone that might be interested. She doesn't require medications, and has never had any founder or colic issues. She gets along well with other horses, and is also fine by herself. After Opal was started under saddle she had been ridden by confident intermediate teens, along with my advanced beginner Husband (with help, rode in the arena and on trails).
